Within the framework of the congress Complexity: a new economic framework to interpret ancient proxy data organized by Jeron Poblome and Koen Verboven, were presented the work “Food Control and Its economic and political repercussions in the Roman Empire” by Dr. Jose Remesal Rodriguez and work “From hypothesis testing to model selection: a comparison of olive oil trade models Identified in Monte Testaccio, Rome” by Dr. Jose Remesal Rodriguez, Dr. Xavier Rubio Campillo, Ms. Maria Coto-Sarmiento and Mr. Jordi Pérez González, as part of the session entitled Food: production and distribution.
