EPNET is an Advanced Grant Project awarded by the European Research Council (ERC) to Principal Investigator of the research group CEIPAC, Dr. José Remesal, Professor of Ancient History Department of Prehistory, Ancient History and Archaeology of the Faculty of Geography and History of the University of Barcelona.
The EPNet Project study, propose to create an innovative framework to investigate the political and economic mechanisms that characterize the dynamics of the system of trade during the Roman Empire.
This type of concessions by the ERC require greater dissemination and enhancement of scientific work and research, in order not to limit the knowledge of the results to a small guild of researchers and scientists or a few institutions, but also with the intention of fulfilling an educational effort to bring profitable results making them available to different social groups, generating a constant exchange of information that eventually repays the dynamics of knowledge.
So we’ve developed the Communication and Social Media Planning that aims to fulfill this mission and present the results of our work in our new website by more dynamic and accessible way, too preponderating presence on social networks like twitter and Facebook, as a global EPNET Project showcase.
