Dr. José María Blázquez Martínez decease today 27/3/2016
We present our sincere condolences to the family of our great friend and mentor Dr. José María Blázquez Martínez (06/07/1926 – 27/03/2016).
Spanish historian and professor of Ancient History at the University of Salamanca and University Complutense of Madrid. Academic member of the Real Academia de la Historia.
He promoted and enhanced the research of archeology and epigraphy. His research at Monte Testaccio in Rome, along with his former student and friend Dr. Jose Remesal Rodriguez is known as a benchmark worldwide.

Impulsó y potenció la investigación de la Arqueología y la Epigrafía. Su trabajo de investigación en el Monte Testaccio en Roma, junto con su antiguo alumno y amigo el Dr. José Remesal Rodríguez, es conocido como referente en todo el mundo.
