I'm Archaeologist and responsible for Instrumentum specially inscriptum on wood, lead, bone, ivory and leather. Associate Professor of Classical Archaeology with habilitation to Full Professor. University of Macerata, Italy.

My bird place ist Saarbrücken in Germany, where my father was professor of Law's Philosophy at the University of Saarland. My main research areas are: Classical and Roman provincial archaeology, Roman Religion, Military Studies, Roman Ceramics, Material culture, Funerary rituals, monuments and Art, Instrumentum and Epigraphy. I studied and obtained the Laurea in Lettere (M.A.) Univ. Roma La Sapienza in 1991 and the Specializzazione in Archeologia (Ph.D) in the same university in 1998 and the Doktorat (Ph.D) in the J.-W. Goethe Univ. Frankfurt/M in 2000. I had had many grants: 1992-1993 DAAD; 1999 Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian; 2002 IEC (Barcelona), 2002 Gerda Henkel Stiftung and DAI, 2003 DAI. My professional activities before my universitary career were: 1994-1996 Redattrice l’ERMA di Bretschneider; 1998 -2002 Cultore della materia Università “La Sapienza” Roma; 2001-2002 Wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft DAI Rom; 2002 Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin DAI Rom; 2002 Becaria postdoctoral Institut d’Estudis Catalans; 2002 -2003 Post Dok. Stipendiatin Gerda Henkel Stiftung / DAI; 2003-2005 Doctor visitante Univ. Barcelona.. Since 2005 I am working at the Univ. Macerata first as Professore a contratto di Archeologia delle Province (2005-2008) and since 2008 as Professore associato di ruolo di Archeologia classica. In 2010 I was Visiting professor at the Univ. Barcelona and in 2014 I obtained the National Habilitation to Full Professor (prof. ordinario). In 2016 I am visiting professor at CEIPAC University of Barcelona. I speak some languages: Italian and German (mother language); English, Spanish, French, Portuguese and Catalan. I know Greek and Latin. I was and I am working in many international projects:
